Model: Cabriolet Collector's Edition

Model Information

Cabriolet was the base trim level.

Cabriolet Classic was the higher content trim level.

Both are Collector's Edition-badged models.

If you look closely, you'll notice that, appearance-wise, the Collector's Edition Cabriolets are just like the 1992 Wolfsburg Editions.

Reportedly, just 4,400 Cabriolets were imported to the USA for sale for the 1993 model year (this has not been confirmed).

While I received an email from an owner with a Cabriolet having power door locks, this option has not been confirmed as being factory-installed equipment.
